Punch-Out!

The boxing game inside the Wii Sports bundle is definitely my favorite. It's challenging, aerobic, and just visceral enough to be a great stress reliever. I own other Wii games, but it seems like I always go back to boxing (and then when I'm too tired to go another round, tennis).

And today, in a marketing email first, I received an advertisement for exactly the product I wanted. In fact, if Nintendo had been able to combine that email with a simple online ordering process and instantaneous digital fulfillment, they'd already have my $49.

Unfortunately for both of us, I'll have to wait. I understand why retailers are preventing me from obtaining everything digitally, but you can only suppress that kind of radical potential for so long. I'm really looking forward to the day when I have to explain to my children what physical media was, and why we used to drive to stores to get it.
